Anthony “Tony” Livingston’s an associate in our Gainesville office with significant experience handling a wide variety of litigation and transactional matters. Tony was raised in Pinellas County, Florida. He receive his Baccalaureate degree from Eckerd College in 2003, where he studied Political Science and International Relations. In 2006, Tony received his law degree, Cum Laude, from Stetson University College of Law. Tony graduated in the top 7% of his class of over 250 students, all while working full-time for a nationwide title insurance company.
Tony began his career as a general practitioner handling all kinds of commercial, real estate, employment law, probate and family matters. In 2011, his practice shifted to working with a very prominent subrogation group where Tony honed his litigation skills while handling large loss subrogation and recovery matters for some of the world’s largest property insurance companies. Tony has handled all kinds of property losses arising out of, among other things: massive wildland interface fires, catastrophic explosions, structure fires, material failures, mechanical failures, structural collapses, construction defects, defective or unsafe products, and trucking accidents. Some of those cases involved losses widely reported in nationwide or regional news media, and involved claims for many hundreds of millions of dollars.
